Details: Special RKIDs Event with guest speaker Matthew Dziennik, PhD, who will present and discuss “Those Who Left Ireland”, an explanation of the reasons for emigration from Ireland since the 1600s. Contact Chuck C. by June 2 to make your reservation. Dr. Dziennik is an Associate Professor in the History Department at the US Naval Academy. His teaching and research focus on Britain and the British Empire. After completing his M.Sc., and Ph.D., at the University of Edinburgh, as well as two postdoctoral fellowships, he came to the USNA in 2016. There is an extra-charge one-hour tour of Little Seneca Lake on a pontoon boat. All signups are in and reservations are closed as of May 23.
