Here's the calendar of events sponsored by the RKIDs, other area Irish social dance organizations, and cool things our members are doing or suggesting. Location:Various locations in Tubbercurry, Sligo, Ireland. Tubbercurry is the second-largest town in terms of both population and land area in County Sligo, Ireland. It lies at the foot of the Ox Mountains, on the N17 national primary road.
Details:
The South Sligo Summer School was founded in 1987 in Tubbercurry, Co. Sligo to conserve and promote the rich tradition of music, song and dance of the area. With a full program of classes, workshops, ceilis, concerts, recitals and talks, there is special emphasis on the old Sligo traditional style of playing.

Meet other RKIDs at this casual, local restaurant. There is parking in front (2 spaces), along the side, and in the rear. For easier in and out, park at the nearby IHOP and walk a few steps to the restaurant. No RSVP is necessary.

Dublin Ohio Irish Festival: Dublin Irish Festival (3 days)

What: For over 37 years, the first weekend in August has been reserved for what is now the largest three-day Irish Festival on the planet. More than 100,000 guests are expected to attend. With 7 stages, dozens of acts and performers.
