Over the last 35 years, many members have contributed greatly to the success of the group. One remarkable person was Sharon Parker. Sadly, she died recently after many years of struggling with Alzheimer’s.
Before she became ill, she was an active member and participated in all aspects of the club. She attended class, performed, served on party organizing committees, went on an RKID trip to Ireland, wrote the RKIDs’ newsletter, and hosted many meetings in her lovely home. If the RKIDs were doing something, Sharon was there, offering her suggestions and help.
Many of the “old timers” remember her so fondly and will miss her dearly.
