 Club Events

There is still time to get tickets for Cherish the Ladies. As part of our 25^th Anniversary celebration, the RKIDs will be attending the performance at Blackrock Center in Germantown on Sunday, February 28. Most of us are going to the 3:00 show and then to dinner afterwards at nearby Ruby Tuesday’s. For tickets go to blackrockcenter.org. Be sure to sign up in class or let Sonja know so she can get reservations for you at the restaurant.

The RKID performers will be showing their talents at Quincy’s on Sunday, Feb 21 at the Gaithersburg St. Patrick’s Parade fundraiser. There will be an afternoon of entertainment. Bring the family. Those wishing to perform should contact Chuck and Maureen and attend practices on Friday February 12 and Friday February 19 at the O’Brien’s.

 About Town

Former member Chris J and her husband, Jay, enjoyed a session at the Irish Inn of Glen Echo recently. Some of our favorite musicians were there: Jesse Winch (playing a variety of instruments), Tina Eck (flute), Mitch Fanning (fiddle), and a couple others.

Pat G ran into another former member, Georganne S, at yoga class.

If you see a former member when you’re out and about, be sure to tell them about the 25^th Anniversary Celebration at Shrine Mont AND about the cookbook. All the details are available at ringofkerrydancers.org.

 Travel

Emmett will be leaving on Saturday, February 6^th for the airport at Mt. Kilimanjaro. He will be climbing to the top with his sister and other friends. Then, he’ll be on safari for a few days.  Best of luck to our good friend.

Evan is in Massachusetts checking on his mother.

Florida has captured Kevin and Liz and now Bob. Hope they are all having a great time in the sunny weather. Could you send some our way???

Emma and Jerry will be in Emma’s homeland, Mexico, for a month.  

Bobbie is spending a few days at her beach house in Bethany. Just down the street, Marilyn and Obie popped into their beach house for a couple days.

Marie went to the state of Washington to visit family. She loves those grandkids.
