25th Anniversary Celebration
Everyone seems to agree that the 25th Anniversary celebration at Shrine Mont was a huge success. In spite of Bobbie’s flood, Jean’s trip to the hospital, and a death in the O’Brien family, somehow, we all pulled together and made it a wonderful weekend of dancing and friendship. Our final count was 52: Bill and Madelyn, Judy, Christine, Larisa, MaryAnn and Dick, Connie, Evan and Sandy, Dick and Dixie, Pat G, Kathryn, Bob, Emma and Jerry, Matt and Jaqie, Colleen, Bobbie, Chuck and Maureen, Erin, Pat L, Diane, David and Kathy, Marilyn M, Dan and Nancy, Kate and Dan, Emmett and Robin, Obie and Marilyn, Sharon O’C, Tom and Sonja, Sharon P, Evelyn, Marie, Ann Marie and Chris, Kevin and Liz, Jean and Carl, Jean and Joe, and Michelle. Thanks to everyone for making it so much fun. Already people are talking about our 30th!! There are more photos on our website photo gallery and RKIDs' Facebook page.
Our Once a Month Brunch went on as scheduled on Saturday, June 4 at the Woodside Deli in Germantown. Tom and Sonja, of course, were there and also Judy, Roger, Maura, Bill and Madelyn.
While people were munching away at the restaurant, Evelyn, Marie, and Marilyn O were at the Germantown Flea Market singing the praises of our cookbook to bargain shoppers. Two were sold and, in her ever-positive manner, Evelyn declared the day a success!

There are stops in the Caribbean, but most of your time will be spent listening to the best of traditional Irish music, dancing to the reels and jigs, and taking workshops in everything Irish.
