About Town
Acting as scouts for a possible RKIDs group event, Bill and Madelyn went to a Frederick Keys minor league game. The Keys are a Class A farm team for the Baltimore Orioles. Bill said that the “Kids Run the Bases” event where all the children in attendance are invited to circle the bases and high-five the mascot was quite entertaining, plus there was a short fireworks show after the game. They both wryly enjoyed ducking the many popups that went into the stands. Upper section reserved tickets for the Sunday game are only $9 per senior, including the convenience fee. Also, the Mariachi Mexican restaurant, where Bill and Madelyn ate before the game, was quite good and only about five minutes from the stadium. The Keys lost to the Salem Red Sox, 4 to 1.
Convalescing
