Irish Activities

The temporary directors of the RKIDs met recently at Tom and Sonja’s. Our coordinator, Sonja, and her sidekick, Tom, provided the group with pizza and salad before they settled down to an evening of discussion. Bill took meticulous notes which you can see by contacting him. Everyone expressed their opinions on everything from soup to nuts (or reels to jigs). No one was shy!!! It was a very lively meeting; lots of decisions were made; and everyone left smiling and laughing. Only the RKIDs can make a Board meeting fun! Thanks to Sonja for a job well done. Those present were: Sonja, Tom, Madelyn, Bill, Marilyn O, Dan O’C, Kate, Chuck, Maureen, and Jean Wds.

Bill and Madelyn, were under the Chapiteau — the big top — at Cirque du Soleil's Kurios production in Tysons celebrating their birthdays. They said it was a brilliantly imaginative and acrobatic production.

MaryAnn and her husband, Dick, are heading north on a cruise to Nova Scotia and Quebec. Bon Voyage!


Kathryn is finally home from her educational travels to Canada and Chautauqua in New York. The summer was filled with adventures of the mind and spirit. Welcome home!
