Date: Saturday March 1, 2025 Time: 12:30 - Location: The parade starts at King St. and Alfred St. then goes east on King St., finishing at the corner of King and Lee Streets. Closest Metro is the blue line, King St/Old Town stop. Details: Alexandria boasts the first St. Patrick's Day Parade in the DC area. Traditionally, this parade is held the first Saturday in March, and serves to attract the finest entries. 16 Fairfax City Parks & Rec: Ceili Sponsor/Host: Fairfax City Parks & Rec What: Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with Irish Social dancing. It will be the only ceili in Northern Virginia. Dancers of all levels are invited to step onto the dance floor to live music by the Shepherds Pie Ceili Band.
