Costello Date: Wednesday April 23, 2025 Time: 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm Location: Zoom Details: We’ve met the author, Danny Costello; now read his novel. Last year, he told us about Irish fairy forts or raths and their protected status under Irish law, Cillín cemeteries (which are somewhat gruesome), and how he approaches composing novels. He also explained the meaning behind the humorous name of the band, Swampoodle with whom he performs. Swampoodle formerly was an Irish enclave of Washingon, D.C. in the 19th century and was in a swampy, puddly area of the city. Previous to Swampoodle, he played with the acclaimed local group, Shannontide.
