Members of the RKIDs Book Club are invited to hear stories from Danny, a real local treasure and author of The Rag Tree. He'll be entertaining us with his music, tales from his trips to Ireland, and stories of local lore — like, why is his band called "Swampoodle?" Swampoodle was an Irish immigrant enclave that formed in the late 19th century and never really overcame the construction of Union Station in 1907 that tore through the heart of its community. This special event is open to all RKIDs members.
