Irish Events
The Performance Group reeled and jigged at the annual St. Patrick's day fundraiser for the Harp and Shamrock Society. In this photo, they are dancing the merry North Kerry set. Thanks to Chuck and Maureen for putting together a great show. Linda then brought cookies to class to thank the RKIDs for our support.
The Cherish the Ladies concert received rave reviews from the RKIDs. The step dancers were outstanding and the music was top-notch. After the great entertainment, people gathered at Ruby Tuesdays for dinner: Bobbie, Kate and Dan O’C, Jean and Carl, Michelle, Larisa, Evelyn, Marie, Tom and Sonja, MaryAnn, Kathleen, and Diane. Obie couldn’t stay for the dinner, but loved the show.
Club Events
Unfortunately, Bennigan’s has stopped serving brunch on Saturday mornings so our group had to go elsewher on March 4th. Tom, Sonja, Connie, and Roger relocated to the Woodside Deli in Germantown. If this works out, we'll return in the future.
Celebrations
Dan O’C and Kate celebrated their 7th wedding anniversary at the scene of their deed, St. Petersburg, Florida. In addition to visiting friends, they went to a Renaissance Fair.
Travel
We've published news about his gearing up for the big climb before, and now are proud to say that Emmett made it to the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro!
Bill and Madelyn have put together an informative and lovely video/slide show of their travels to Italy. The photography is great and Madelyn’s wise words describe the sights. Looks like an amazing trip!
Tom and Sonja escaped to New Jersey for the weekend where they visited friends and family.
Despite the freezing cold, Marilyn and Obie (with their friends Ron and Jackie) tromped through Williamsburg, VA, visiting the historic houses and restaurants.

Gerry went to see Star Wars - The Force Awakens for the second time.
Convalescing
Maureen, Sharon C, and Marilyn O suffered through a winter cold recently. All are on their feet again.
